Zunyi Baicao Garden is located in the Pharmaceutical Industrial Park of the Southern New District of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, covering an area of about 1500 mu. The project includes the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Baicao Hall, Sports Experience Center, Traditional Chinese Medicine Plantation, Parent-Child Activity Zone, etc. Zunyi Baicao Garden is based on the sightseeing of Chinese herbal medicines, and strives to build an eco-tourism area of Chinese herbal medicines, which integrates the cultivation of Chinese herbal medicines, health care for the elderly, tourism and popular science education.

 

The main buildings in Baicao Garden include Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Cultural Park of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Commercial Street of Medicinal Food, Shennong Square, Folk Village, etc. The overall layout of the project is "two centers, two axes and two rings", "two centers" are the Shennong Plaza in the center of the plot and the Taiji Lake in the interior of the scenic area. The "two axes" refer to the natural scenery axis in the east-west direction and the Tourist Commercial Service Street in the North-South direction. The "two rings" refer to the natural students planting the ten famous Chinese medicine cultural landscape routes around the Taiji Lake and the traditional Chinese medicine around the scenic area. The state ring. The whole park embodies the strong atmosphere of Chinese traditional medicine culture everywhere.

 

As a tourist base for planting Chinese herbal medicines, Baicao Garden is characterized by large-scale planting of Chinese herbal medicines in addition to preserving the original ecological plant communities and planting various shrubs and flowers.           

Starting from the main entrance of Baicao Garden and passing through the Medicinal Food Commercial Street, the Shennong statue in the distance of Shennong Square is the first thing to be seen. The stone slabs on the right side of the square are engraved with ancient legends about Shennong tasting herbs. On the left side of the square, panoramic oil paintings are painted, which make people bright and impressive.

 

Following the back steps of Shennong's statue, a museum of traditional Chinese medicine is displayed in front of us. If you look down from high altitude, you will find that the whole space is designed according to the Taiji pattern, half of the mountains and half of the lakes, which is also the reason why the area was named "Taiji Mountain Lake".

 

 

To the east of Taijishan Lake is the children's favorite playground for parents and children, interesting quagmire and sports experience center. The Parent-Child Recreation Area has laid colorful runway and built six slides for children to play; the interesting mud pool is also called "Seven Colorful Pools". Seven different colors of fine sand are distributed in different sand pools; the Sports Experience Center is specially prepared for extreme sports enthusiasts, such as the bowl pool area and U-shaped trough area of skateboard venue, with three different levels of venues and one side of rock climbing. Walls provide a variety of choices for athletes.

 

On the west side of Taijishan Lake, folk villages, traditional Chinese medicine cultural parks and Zen temples have been built respectively. Folklore villages are based on the original houses of local peasant households, and many local folk cultures are gathered after renovation and transformation; Traditional Chinese Medicine Cultural Park takes traditional Chinese medicine as the theme, planting many precious Chinese herbal medicines, and various herbal medicines planting areas have introduction boards for tourists to understand relevant medical knowledge; Zen Court pays attention to Zen, with dry streams, small stone slab bridges, sand ponds and pavilions arranged in the courtyard. In addition to "two centers, two axes and two rings", the park is divided into five areas according to five elements: golden area, which symbolizes the respiratory system of human body, and the main plant color is pink; wooden area, which symbolizes the immune system of human body, and the main plant color is green; water area, which symbolizes the circulatory system of human body, the main plant color is blue and purple; fire area, which symbolizes the endocrine system of human body, and the main plant color is green. Red; soil area, symbolizes the digestive system of the human body, the main plant color is yellow.

 

The Baicao Garden Project in Zunyi Southern New Area is the first health-preserving tourism project of Arts gardens in Guizhou. At present, all the projects are progressing smoothly and the effect of the completed area is remarkable, which has been highly recognized by local leaders and residents. The project is expected to be completed and open to the outside world by the end of October this year.
